Before Christmas Digital Advantage hosted a visit from Councillor Greg Stanton, portfolio lead for Digital at Manchester City Council. Councillor Stanton holds one of the most important industry briefs at the council, as the digital sector and the economy as a whole recover from recession and helps drive opportunity for young people in the city. Our interns and Apprentices really appreciated his visit as it helps raise visibility for young people with autism and raises their profile amongst the City’s more progressive employers. In 2023 we will be working with the City Council’s Digital Strategy Team to help them launch the strategy and make it more accessible to excluded groups across the city.
